In this short video, Erin Axelrod describes her upcoming workshop on Designing the Regenerative Economy with Kevin Bayuk. She mentions projects that LIFT Economy is supporting that participants can get involved with, too.
For instance, LIFT Economy is working with Winona LaDuke and the White Earth Reservation. They’re working to create “an industrial hemp sector to bring economic sovereignty and economic development to that reservation in Northern Minnesota.” She also mentions “Community Services Unlimited in South LA that is bringing a 10,000 square foot village marketplace to a food desert area of South LA.”
Their workshop is part four of our Systems Change & the Next Economy course, taking place April 6-7 in Santa Cruz.
The full title of Erin & Kevin’s workshop is “Designing the Regenerative Economy: Next Economy design principles and strategies for vocation and regenerative enterprise design.”
