Red willow is a fast-growing native tree typically found along creeks and wetlands across California, ranging from sea level up to 5,000 feet. It flourishes in consistently moist environments and is frequently used in erosion control, habitat restoration, and bioswale installations.

Willow cuttings are 9 to 10 inches long and should be inserted into soil 7-8 inches deep. Plant in spring, typically March 15 to May 15. Earlier and later plantings are possible with special consideration to water availability, and location of planting. Shipping available throughout the USA via USPS.
