Reddish brown, good weaver. This American hybrid willow is a cross between eriocephala and petiolaris, two species that grow wild in Eastern North America. It’s a very popular basketry willow in Europe that’s regaining recognition here.

Willow cuttings are 9 to 10 inches long and should be inserted into soil 7-8 inches deep. Plant in spring, typically March 15 to May 15. Earlier and later plantings are possible with special consideration to water availability, and location of planting. Shipping available throughout the USA via USPS.
