Bleu Willow is a striking ornamental shrub renowned for its vibrant stems and versatility in landscape design. This French cultivar of the violet willow features upright growth and produces slender, flexible rods ideal for basketry and living structures. The stems transition from red and green to a rich reddish-purple hue as they mature, while the foliage turns a dark blue-green with soft blue-gray undersides. In early spring, it produces black catkins that add visual interest before the leaves emerge.
