About the Instructor

Miles is a student, farmer and natural builder. He and Katrina Rozelle founded Muddbums in 2014 with the intention of maintaining a presence of natural building in the Santa Cruz area when their mentor Claudine Desiree began her global cob experience. Offering workshops, work parties and consultation, Muddbums has helped facilitate projects including: ovens, benches, natural finish work, outdoor kitchens, and small structures. Education of appropriate material choices, design and building techniques, along with hands on opportunities for learning, are integral parts of natural building that Muddbums provides.
